It is once again Christmas, the time our godparents hate the most. Having to buy those little demonitas, I mean cute little kids, Christmas presents means one thing. You will inevitably splurge. Christmas season never fails to make you poor.

Last Sunday, my dad and I went to Robinsons to start “panic-buying”. We were looking for toys to give my little cousins and well, something caught my eye. Wow. A cool drum set for kids. How I wished I was born in this century so I can have that tasty looking drum set (which I might say is very advanced in technology, it has tons of buttons I don’t even know what for). On the other hand, my dad was looking at action figures and plastic toy cars (the small ones). It probably was a funny scene. My dad looking at some loser plastic toy car that looked like it was made 38139182381 years ago and me, looking at an awesome/fantastic/state of the art – drum set.

Old age vs. New age

It made me thinking, have we come this far? Technology, I mean.

“Ano ba yan tinitingnan mo!? Ang pangit!? Kelangan pag magreregalo ka sa bata dapat interactive na!”

“Ha? Eto kaya uso nung bata kami! Kung sino may ganito, dino-dyos!”

Fantastic.

Based on my… gathered data, I therefore conclude that Technology really progressed these past few years/decades (in my father’s case, that is).

Whats the point of my freakishly weird entry? I don’t know. Haha! Kidding, Hmm, well, guys, I’ll just leave a question here.
